Massachusetts FASD Task Force

Addressing FASD in the commonwealth

Who we are

The Massachusetts FASD Task Force is a multi-sector group of stakeholders committed to Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) awareness. Our members are comprised of professionals from government agencies and health and human services organizations. The Massachusetts FASD Task force is organized and facilitated by the MassFASD program of the Institute for Health and Recovery (IHR) in collaboration with our funders from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Bureau of Substance Addiction Services.

What we do

The Massachusetts FASD Task Force: Seeks to educate professionals about FASDs, increase diagnostic capacity, and further the development of appropriate services for individuals with an FASD diagnosis throughout their lifespan in Massachusetts. Open to all Massachusetts health and human services professionals.

The MassFASD program: Delivers education, consultations, training, and technical assistance on FASD and related topics to professionals, families, and individuals — plus caregiver support groups, resource navigation, community events, and peer support.
